Qantas and Emirates to Partner
According to German publication BizTravel, Qantas' and Emirates' frequent flyer programs will join forces on March 31, 2013. This means that members of each program will be able to use their miles on flights on the other carrier.

Emirates / Alaska Redemption Partnership
Starting January 16, 2013, Emirates and Alaska Airlines are expanding their partnership to include award flight redemption. Members of Emirates Skywards and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan will be able to redeem their points for flights on each other's routes.

New Partnership Between TAP and Emirates
Starting December 21, 2012, members of TAP Victoria can redeem flights on Emirates and members of Emirates Skywards can redeem flights on TAP Portugal.
